PS3 Shenanigans pt 3

This is it. Frankenstation MK. 3.

It runs quite well for about two hours. Since there is no cooling mechanism, it overheats eventually and shuts down. I have to wait for the oil to cool and it runs again, so at this point I just need a pump and radiator and I'll be in full working business.

I guess I'm surprised that the oil doesn't dissipate the heat. Did you fill it the rest of the way? What if you just run a small fan across the top? The oil should move the heat to the top of the tank. Air flow could remove the heat. Is there any turbulence in the tank?Building a radiator wouldn't be too tough, but copper tubing can be a bit expensive. A home brewing store might have what you need. What are you thinking for the radiator? That sounds really fun.

I was thinking about a project like this last week...wondering if a little mini fridge for dorms would have worked but then maybe there's too much moisture in the fridge and bad for the components? Surely there should be a way to convert the radiator/refridgerant from the mini fridge into the frankenmachine?
