I don't doubt that she wasn't a burden, but your concern for her must have been a stressful time. When you care for somebody and are concerned about their health, you are burdened. I thought I was fine while my Mom battled cancer and when she was diagnosed in complete remission I felt so emotionally drained. The truth was that she hadn't asked much of anything from me, but I had been so willing to give everything I had, that when it was over, I was exhausted. I had been so concerned about everything relating to her health, while also avoiding my feelings that when she was healthy, I found that I was really unsure of how to feel. Sickness and health are very strange things. It's amazing that anybody makes it out alive. If you have any confusion about that sort of thing, don't worry, it's not abnormal.

that's fantastic. Congratulations on not having that around your neck any longer
There was not a single moment that she was a burden to me. It's amazing seeing her come out of this.
